A Day At The Races

Today we've been at the Sandown Racecourse and watched the racing cars. Good, that we don't mind the loud noise...

Gardening

Yesterday was planting day at the Pop Up Park in Dandenong.
We've got 6 patches, planted lots of vegies (lettuce, peas, tomatos, onions, herbs etc.) and had good fun!

World Time

Our latest Art Project: 'The World Clock'

Everybody decorated a wall clock the way he likes it during our art program and because each one of us comes from a different part of the world, we show you the different time zones we're from.

When it is 12pm (lunch time) here for us in Melbourne, Yasitha's relatives in Sri Lanka are probably just starting the day, because it is 7.30am there.

In Pedro's home country Portugal most people are still sleeping at 3am.
Just an hour later at 4am it is the same for the people in Macedonia, where Muhamet's parents come from.
Warren's Mum came from Singapore to Australia. It's 10am there, when it's noon in Melbourne.
It's 9am in Vietnam for James' relatives.
The same for a part of Brandon's family living in Vietnam.
While it's 5am in Sudan, where Bol comes from.
Born in the same time zone, but in a different country: Varant shows you that it is 5am in the morning in Iraq, when we are having already lunch in Melbourne.
